Co-Founder and Director
During her 25+ years in the PR industry, Sue has developed expertise in a range of sectors, including clean technology, financial services, life sciences and corporate business-to-business campaigns. Originally starting her career in marketing, Sue has seamlessly navigated both in-house and agency roles, collaborating with a broad spectrum of organisations ranging from start-ups to global enterprises. Sue holds a BA in Business Studies, a CAM Foundation Certificate, and an Advanced Professional Diploma in Public Relations Consultancy Management.
Cate Bonthuys
Co-Founder and Director
With over 15 years’ experience, Cate is a seasoned communications professional, having worked across South Africa, Australia, and the UK. She began her career as a radio presenter and worked as a communications consultant during the FIFA World Cup 2010. She went on to manage the field marketing team for Red Bull before co-founding Catalyst Comms in 2014. Cate’s experience spans various industries, including sustainability, healthcare, AI, geospatial, and business-to-business campaigns. Cate holds a BA degree in Communication Science and a BA Honours degree in Media Studies.
